Knit for a Cause!

100% of the proceeds from this KAL will benefit Harmony House, an emergency supportive housing program serving young people ages 18–24 in Summit County, Ohio. Harmony House provides emergency and transitional housing, rapid rehousing, and inclement weather shelter services. It’s the only program of its kind in Summit County, making this a cause worth knitting for!

Join the #HarmonyHouse KAL and knit alongside designer Anne Hanson and fellow knitters from across the country! It’s a wonderful opportunity to work on your gift knitting, make new knitting friends, and support a meaningful cause along the way.

We’ll gather in the Ravelry forums and meet virtually for weekly Zoom meetups to share our progress, chat about our projects, cheer each other on, and show off our finished knits. Come for the knitting, stay for the community, and help us make a difference one stitch at a time!

About This KAL

• Zoom Meetups: Access to our Wednesday and Saturday Zoom gatherings is included.

• KAL Dates: Knit along with us starting 11/07/2026 through December 30, 2026.

• Patterns Not Included: Your KAL registration does not include a knitting pattern for this KAL.

• A Cause Worth Knitting For: 100% of the proceeds from this KAL will be donated to the Harmony House Fund.

Almost anything! Choose any one of the eligible projects below and join the fun. Whether you’re knitting gifts for loved ones or treating yourself to something special, every stitch helps support Harmony House!

• Knit any of this year's fundraiser designs
• Knit any Knitspot design (hat, mitts, shawl, scarf, etc)
• Knit any design using the limited-edition Festivus yarn
• Knit any design using Bare Naked Wools yarn
• Or Knit Any other designers patterns you want (Extra points if you use BNW yarn)
