What is included?
• 1 skein of Parfait Worsted: A 3-ply worsted-weight Rambouillet yarn, produced entirely on one family ranch in the western range. Each ply is a different natural gray-brown shade—dark, medium, and light—creating a beautiful barber-pole effect that knits into a soft, speckled, flannel-like fabric.
Note: These skeins are unwashed. The wool is scoured before processing, but the yarn is not washed after spinning, so it may contain a bit of spinning oil or mill dust. After a warm, soapy soak, the yarn blooms beautifully. Be sure to wash swatches and finished fabric before checking gauge.
(If you need a wool wash, we have several great options!)
• 1 skein of Kent DK in Coconut Husk shade: A lustrous 2-ply yarn spun from soft, squishy romney wool blended with combed merino top. The resulting yarn is airy and light; knits up into fabric with a gorgeous hand for long wearing sweaters, accessories, or blankets and other home items. This wool is grown and spun entirely in America. To learn more about the origin of Kent yarn, read the blog.
