Kent Aran is a lustrous 3-ply yarn spun from soft, squishy romney wool blended with combed merino top. The resulting yarn is airy and light; knits up into fabric with a gorgeous hand for long wearing sweaters, accessories, or blankets and other home and accessory items. Kent Aran, tough with a wonderful springiness

This is a fabulous yarn. I knit a pair of mittens with the skein I received with the Barn Box. I totally love the rugged strength, but also the truly smooth and springy texture. I can hardly wait to create an Aran sweater for myself with this perfect outdoor wear yarn, which is smooth and kind to my hands while I'm knitting.
