This top-down unisex sock in four sizes is worked in Chevron Rib which extends down the leg and over the top of the foot. Knit and purl stitches combine to yield a deep, cushy texture which hugs the leg and foot nicely. Sock is easily converted to toe-up construction, as the pattern is vertically reversible.

Shown here in Better Breakfast Fingering, color Poppyseed

Matching Motif: Zig Zag Mitts, Hat and Scarf

Gorgeous yarn for socks!

I intend to knit these socks while on a cross-country road trip this spring. The yarn is gorgeous, as usual, and I’m delighted to see that the socks have a short-row-type heel, which has become my favorite.

Need Alternate Heel

I haven’t started the Dolomite socks yet, but since I have a high instep I will need to do a heel flap and gusset. I’ll have to see how I can fit that into the pattern. The Better Breakfast yarn is lovely and I can’t wait to knit with it.
