Waggle Dance Shawl

An ever more complex pattern of twist stitches progresses across the span of this wedge-shaped shawl in two sizes (petite/tall), culminating in a highly textured surface pattern. Worked from side to side beginning at the wide end, the motif builds into more cohesive and interesting shapes as the piece lengthens. A shrinking stitch count and wrong side rows all in purl make this a quick and enjoyable project to work in sport weight or heavy fingering yarn. The result is a cuddly warm accessory to wrap around when chilly winds blow!
