This lightweight crescent shawl in three sizes (Petite/Medium/Tall), features a lace hem with a beautifully shaped edge. Quirky lines trace an irregular path between leaf motifs to complete the stunning contrast of light and dark within the pattern. Complex as it might be to the eye, the lace is actually quite simple to work. The garter stitch body is shaped with short rows to create an elegant sweeping curve, easy to wear and keep in place.

Cormo Lace, Yak + Silk Lace, Modern Deco Lace, Shetlandia Fingering, Jacob Fingering, Kent Lace, Fresh Lace, Stone Soup Fingering, or any laceweight yarn with 225 to 275 yards per ounce. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.

29 sts and 64 rows = 4 inches in garter st on smaller (body) needle (unwashed, unblocked)

size 2.5US (3.0 mm) for body or size to obtain correct gauge
size 4US (3.5 mm) for hem, or two ‘mm’ sizes larger than body needle
