Fingerless mitts are fun and fast, a project to play with—work this pair in two colors for a complex look of playful patterning created by slipped stitches. Choose high contrast colors for the most impact or a more harmonious pairing for a subtly shifting effect. Pick a variegated handpaint or nearly solid yarn to highlight the depth and texture of the stitchwork. The pattern includes three sizes (S/M/L) and has a fitted thumb gusset; it is a good choice for very soft yarns as the slip stitch patterns lend stability to the final fabric.
