Finished Size: 75 inches wide across top edge and 29 inches long at center back (washed, stretched, and blocked)
Yarn Requirement:
approximately 900 yards total in a mix of four shades; required yardages for sample as shown:
Color A (medium gray): 250 yards
Color B (light brown/gray): 225 yards
Color C (white/cream): 200 yards
Color D (charcoal gray): 200 yards
Gauge:
24 sts and 37 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch in Color A on smaller needles (knit flat, washed, and air-dried)
24 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in Chart A pattern stitch on smaller needles (knit flat, washed, and air-dried)
Needles:
size 5US (3.75 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge; DPNS in same size for finishing (optional)
size 6US (4.0 mm) or .25 mm larger than gauge needle
