This handsome rectangle in several sizes (scarf/large scarf/petite stole/tall stole) is complex in appearance, but very easy to work, delivering a stunning result for any skill level. Its heavily embossed areas are offset beautifully by lighter openwork stitches that provide contrast in weight and density. A few nupps add dimension with lacy openings to highlight the variety of textures, making this pattern a good candidate for silky yarns with a bit of sheen. Beads may be substituted for nupps if desired.
