Japanese Feather Stole or Scarf

Description

An airy scarf or stole consisting of a single stitch motif, perfect for a light covering indoors or out. Makes a good knitting project for a beginning or intermediate lace knitter, and a quick knit for a more experienced knitter.

Finished Size: Stole: approx 21” x 72”, blocked (or desired length) Scarf: approx 12” x 56” blocked (or desired length)  

Yarn Requirements: Stole: approx 700 yards Scarf: approx 350 yards 

Gauge: 5.5 sts per inch unblocked 

Needles Size: 
US8 (5mm) straight or circular. Adjust needle size as needed.
