These midweight mittens in three sizes (S/M/L) feature textures inspired by shells and a sassy tilted cuff. The knitting fun starts with an asymmetrical garter stitch cuff shaped in short rows, then moves up to a panel of welting pattern worked in knit and purl which brings to mind the ebb and flow of the tide. The design is compatible with solids as well as softly shaded self-striping or gradient yarn and variegated yarns with longer color runs.
