  • This light, airy cowl, stole or scarf in several sizes features a delicate, textured stitch pattern that works up well in lightweight yarns. Concentrated increases and decreases within the motif contribute to its dramatic shaping and self-scalloping lines, which are emphasized here by striping with contrasting colors. The scarf or stole is worked in one piece and may be knit with a single colorway or gradient yarn if desired.

Finished Size: scarf (small scarf, large scarf, stole): 9.5(11.5, 18.5) inches in width and 60(68, 78) inches in length (stretched and blocked) cowl (small, medium, tall): 22.5(54, 61) inches in circumference and 11.5(9, 11.5) inches in depth (blocked)

Yarn requirements: scarf: 250(360, 575) yards each of Color A (Cream) and Color B (shown here in peach) cowl: 125(225, 325) yards each of Color A (Cream) and Color B (shown here in peach)

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.

Sample is knit in Bare Naked Wools Fresh Lace, color A and Zen Yarn Garden Serenity Silk +, color B Peach Harvest
