A top-down sock in four sizes (S/M/L/XL) with a pretty piecrust edge around the top and a pattern of cherries strung down the leg and over the foot to celebrate a most American summer dessert favorite.

Suggested Yarns: 
Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, Modern Deco Sport, or any springy, high-twist sock yarn with approximately 400 yards/100 grams.
  
Substituting needles and/or yarn may result in an overall variation in size. 

Finished Size:
6.5(7.5, 8.5, 9.5) inches in circumference, to fit feet up to 7.5(8.5, 9.5, 10.5) inches around

Yarn requirements:
350(400, 450, 500) yards

Gauge:
32 sts and 48 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Needles:
DPNs size US1 (2.25 mm), or size to obtain correct gauge

Fun, intuitive knit!

This sick pattern, like all of Anne's designs, is well written, easy to follow, even for people like me, who have little experience with knitting socks. This was my first top down sock and so far (I am not quite finished with the first sock) I have had no problems following the pattern, no burst of frustration, just a lovely sock that has been fun enough to knit, that i am looking forward to do it again, so no "second sock syndrome" here!

The Cherry Pie sock pattern is a
lovely, feminine pattern with just the right amount of lacey design.
I love the "Cherry" like motif over the. Leg and foot.
