Four Way, Two Needle Hat

A 2-needle hat knitted from the top down with four different finishes at the brim. This knitting pattern can be adapted to circular knitting.

Suggested Yarns:
Galway, Cascade 220, Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden, Lamb’s Pride Worsted, Nature Spun Worsted, Encore worsted

Finished Size:
child (SM adult, LG adult); actual hat measurements = 17” (20”, 23”)

Yarn requirements:
100 (150, 200) yards

Gauge:
16 stitches and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch

Needles:
US8 (5mm) or size to achieve gauge. (Additional needles 1 size smaller may be needed for some styles)

Notions:
2 double-pointed needles same size as for hat, stitch markers, tapestry needle
