This beanie is worked up in a light yarn to create a nice slouchy loose fit. The beanie is worked by creating the brim first and then working up to the body of the hat. You are welcome to add/subtract rows in the hat body for desired drape. You may need an additional skein if you add more rows than indicated. Be sure to test brim size on your head before working the rest of the beanie so adjustments can easily be made. Add/Subract rows to the brim size for resizing the beanie. Do not turn on the joins for the body of the hat. There is a slant to the joins of the hat body when working with a HDC, but the slouch of the hat will make this less noticeable, as well as the CH1 when joining.
