A pretty scarf featuring a highly-textured lace pattern which extends to all edges, creating beautifully irregular selvedges and hems. Left unblocked, the lace will be more deeply textured with less openwork. A great stitch pattern to feature fine handspun yarn.

Seasons Fingering, Modern Deco Lace, Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, Shetlandia Fingering, Jacob Fingering, Finn Dandy 3-ply Sport, or any soft fingering yarn. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.
Finished Size:
7.5” W x 39” L (stretched and blocked)
Yarn Requirements:
approximately 300 yards of soft fingering weight yarn
Gauge:
26 sts and 34 rows = 4” in stockinette
Needles:
size US6 (4mm)or size to obtain gauge; a needle with a slender, tapered point is highly recommended
