These toasty mittens bring to mind Robert Frost's poem, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". The pattern includes instructions for one size, with instructions for modifying to a custom fit. Mittens are worked in the round with no more than two colors in use at a time. The cuff has a turned-in lining to keep them snug and comfortable. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, elasticity, and yardage requirement.

Suggested Yarns: Bare Naked Wools Kent DK, Stone Soup DK, or Confection Sport

Finished Size: 8.25 inches / 21 cm circumference and 11 inches / 28 cm in length to fit hands measuring up to 7.75 / 19.5 cm inches around palm Note: for additional sizes, gauge can be adjusted - use size 3US (3.25 mm) needles for a smaller size and use size 5US (3.75 mm) needles for a larger size. Length may be adjusted to suit.
