An enjoyable project for beginners and experienced knitters alike; the bold motif is a snap to learn and simple to execute; sizing is easily adjusted to suit different yardages or yarn weights.

Suggested Yarns:

 Bare Naked Wools Stone Soup DK, Better Breakfast DKKent DK, Ginny DK, Ghillie Sport/DK, or any springy DK/light worsted yarn that knits to pattern gauge. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape. 

Finished Size:

 32(32, 45, 56) inches wide and 32(36, 60, 72) long (blocked)

Yarn Requirements: 

875(950, 2200, 3300) yards

Gauge: 
18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unblocked)

Needles: 

size 8US (5.0 mm) needles for body or size to obtain correct gauge
size 7US (4.5 mm) needles for hem (or one size smaller than gauge needle)
