Red Scarf E-Book 2020

Description

For the first time ever we're offering a limited-edition ebook of the entire 2020 Red Scarf Collection, 9 designs by 9 incredibly talented designers. Get the eBook while it lasts and save almost 40% while helping this amazing cause!

Please consider adding an extra donation, see pull down menu for options  and thank you for your generosity to this wonderful cause!

Thank you for participating in the 10th-Year Anniversary of the Red Scarf Fundraiser by Knitspot! Your contribution helps a Foster Care to Success scholarship recipient complete their dreams of a college education. Each designer included in this e-book is letting us showcase one of their patterns to raise money for this charitable cause.

The recipients of this scholarship are high-risk individuals who have aged out of the system and don’ have anyone else — usually fashion majors, a plus for the entire knitting community. We’ve been providing this scholarship since 2011 and have seen first-hand the huge impact it has on our student recipients.

Charity funds are raised through sales of original patterns and a custom-dyed artisan yarn, both created just for this event. During the fundraiser, we offer the designs exclusively through 12/31/2020 and donate 100% of profits to the Foster Care 2 Success program.

Special thanks to this year's generous designers: Thea Colman (Baby Cocktails), Tamy Gore, Anne Hanson (Knitspot), Fatimah Hinds (Disturbing the Fleece), Kirsten Kapur (Through the Loops), Noma Ndlovu, Alicia Plummer (Alicia Plum), Bonnie Sennott (Blue Peninsula) and Carol Sunday (Sunday Knits).

Samples were knit in Festivus 5.0 Sport Cardinal and Festivus 5.0 Worsted Cardinal yarn.

PDF download only.

Please note that the ebook and patterns are not available for Ravelry yet, but we will be happy to add them to your library as they become available in the coming weeks.
