A scarf or neckwarmer in two sizes (S/L) to match the Eliza mitts with the same pleated hem flounce and pretty snowdrop lace. The neckwarmer features a sidebutton closure. Scarf is worked in two pieces and grafted at center back. An excellent first lace project that experienced knitters will enjoy as well for its suitability as a quick knit gift project.

Suggested Yarns:
Stone Soup Fingering, Confection Sport, Targhee Tango Sport, Chebris Sport, Ghillie Sport, Stone Soup DK, Better Breakfast DK, Kent DK, Ginny DK, or any soft, plump, sock yarn with 375-425 yards per 4 ounces. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.
Finished Size:
neckwarmer: 17(20) inches in circumference, buttoned (washed and blocked)
scarf: 7(8.5) inches wide and 45(54) inches long
Yarn Requirements:
neckwarmer: 125(150) yards
scarf: 300(400) yards
Buttons:
5 buttons that are .375 inch in diameter for neckwarmer
Gauge: 30 sts and 44 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on smaller needles (unblocked)
Needles:
size 2US (2.75 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
size 3US (3.25 mm) for hem (or two mm sizes bigger than body needle)
