This handsome neckwarmer or cowl features a deeply etched motif with lots of movement for a bold, yet tailored lace look—all the more surprising when knit in a soft, cozy, tweed yarn. But don’t hesitate if instinct tells you to choose a fine lace yarn for a result with linework that stands out in stark relief on a sheer background fabric. A mix of simple and complex lacework keeps this project interesting for intermediate lace knitters who want to expand their knitting skills with a piece where the front of the work is always visible.
